Inspection for control in the field of mining industry and geology under the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

An important milestone in establishing an effective anti-corruption management system took place at the Inspection for Control in the Field of Mining and Geology. The inspection was officially awarded the prestigious ISO 37001:2025 international certificate of compliance.

This certificate serves as international recognition of the practical efforts made to ensure openness and transparency, prevent conflicts of interest, and foster a zero-tolerance approach to corruption within the system. The ISO 37001:2025 standard provides a systematic framework for identifying, assessing, and mitigating corruption risks.

Throughout this process, the operational practices of the inspection were comprehensively aligned with international requirements. More than 10 internal departmental regulations were adopted and put into practice, covering key areas such as internal anti-corruption policies, conflict of interest management, risk prevention, and enhanced transparency in public procurement.

Establishing a comprehensive preventive mechanism against corruption strengthens adherence to the rule of law, enhances objectivity in decision-making, and elevates the quality and effectiveness of state supervision to a new level.

This milestone demonstrates the consolidation of an organizational culture rooted in openness and accountability. Implementing international anti-corruption standards ensures efficient resource management, securely safeguards state and public interests, and enhances the overall investment attractiveness of the sector.
