In connection with June 23 – the United Nations Public Service Day, employees of the Inspectorate for Control in the Mining Industry and Geology visited the Geological Museum. This educational event was organized to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-95 dated June 19, 2025, and to widely promote the role and significance of the state civil service in the life of society.
Within the framework of the event, employees of the Inspectorate, family members of state civil servants operating within the system, and final-year students of specialized higher education institutions closely acquainted themselves with the geological wealth of our country, unique mineral samples, and exhibits related to the history of the sector. During the guided tour around the museum, the participants were provided with detailed information on the development stages of the geology sector, conducted scientific research, and the mineral resources potential of our country.
Such events hold particular significance in enhancing the professional skills and broadening the outlook of state control body employees. For the representatives of the Inspectorate, who are tasked with ensuring the rational use of subsoil resources and maintaining legality in the sector, a deep understanding of national geological history and current potential directly contributes to the quality execution of their official duties. The effectiveness of monitoring and control activities depends on the strength of fundamental knowledge related to the field.
This educational and practical meeting demonstrates the necessity of relying not only on technical regulations but also on rich historical experience when exercising state control in the geology sector. The intellectual strengthening of the control system lays the foundation for the early prevention of violations in the industry, the protection of state resources, and the ensuring of economic stability in subsoil development. Rigid enforcement of legality is a key factor in enhancing the country's investment attractiveness.
