This initiative is being implemented to ensure the execution of instructions given on April 7, 2026, at a video-selector meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dedicated to raising the field of physical culture and sports to a new level. Based on the instructions of the head of state, a special control plan was developed by the Inspectorate for Mining and Geology Control, and sports events are an important link in the effective organization of the tasks defined in this plan.
The mini-football competitions organized in the divisions and at the special sports base were held in an intense and uncompromising struggle. Rescuers and staff demonstrated their physical potential, high team solidarity, and striving for victory. The competitions not only strengthen employees' interest in sports but also serve their physical and mental recovery after demanding daily duty activities.
According to the monitoring mechanism approved by the Inspectorate, weekly sports days will become not just a formal event, but a permanent tool for increasing labor productivity and forming a healthy lifestyle. In the future, within the framework of sports days, it is planned to hold competitions in other popular sports and to further strengthen the material and technical base.
The physical fitness and health of sector employees directly affect the safety of production and mine rescue operations. Strengthening the control system with such social measures expands the capacity for rapid and effective action in any emergency situation.
Protecting the health of employees not only ensures the stability of enterprises but also serves to sharply reduce economic losses by preventing industrial risks. A healthy team is the core foundation for ensuring safety and compliance in the mining industry.
