During a meeting between the Governor of Tashkent Region and Turkish investors led by Recep Geduk, a proposal was discussed to establish an International Vocational Training Centre for Tourism at the Bostonliq Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School.
The meeting also addressed issues related to enhancing the professional qualifications of personnel, providing foreign language training, and sending selected specialists to Türkiye for professional development in accordance with established requirements.
As part of the project, the centre is expected to train specialists in various areas of hospitality services, including guest reception, room reservations, housekeeping, culinary arts, and restaurant services. Alongside theoretical instruction, practical training sessions are also planned at hotels, restaurants, and recreational complexes.
This initiative will contribute to expanding vocational education opportunities at the technical school, training specialists in line with labour market demands, and strengthening the integration of education and practical experience in the tourism sector.
