A delegation from the Agency for Vocational Education held a meeting with the leadership and education representatives of The Gustave Roussy Institute in France. The discussions focused on enhancing the professional qualifications of technical college teachers and drawing on international experience in nursing education.

Plans include jointly developing a nursing curriculum in accordance with French standards and requirements, as well as introducing online learning, certification, and internship programmes for teachers.

The meeting also addressed opportunities to develop cooperation in the following areas:

• Organising internships in France for technical college teachers and enhancing their professional qualifications;

• Developing a joint diploma programme for training nurses in oncology;

• Establishing a nursing certification system and studying international best practices in this field.

These initiatives aim to improve the quality of vocational education in the medical field, develop teachers’ practical skills, and enhance the nursing education system.
