Over 200 technical college leaders and teachers participated in international professional development and internship programs within 9 months

Within the vocational education system, international professional development and internship programs are being organized to enhance teachers’ professional capacity, learn from advanced international experience, and introduce modern teaching methods into practice.
From January to September 2026:
➖ 246 leaders and teaching staff from 145 technical colleges across the country were sent abroad for professional development and internships;
➖ specialists studied advanced practices in countries including China, South Korea, Türkiye, Germany, India, Belarus and Japan;
➖ participants included 166 vocational training instructors, 27 managerial staff, 20 general education teachers and 33 specialized subject teachers;
➖ specialists gained international experience in fields such as automotive, industry, IT, construction, agriculture, welding, design and medicine;
➖ by 2030, the number of teachers who have completed internships abroad is planned to reach 2,500, including 300 in 2026;
➖ starting this year, 150 teachers who demonstrate the best performance in their professional activities are sent abroad annually using funds from the Vocational Education Development Fund.
