Switzerland’s Dual Education Experience to Be Applied in Uzbekistan’s Vocational Education System

Representatives of the Agency for Vocational Education are participating in the international training programme “Skills in Switzerland: Exploring Apprenticeship Excellence”, organized by SFUVET in Lausanne and Bern as part of Switzerland’s VET4UZ project, which supports vocational education reforms in Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the participants learned about the activities of BOBST, one of the world’s leading industrial companies, with a focus on:
➖ the vocational education and workforce training system, as well as the involvement of employers in the educational process;
➖ mechanisms for developing practical skills and preparing young people in line with labour market requirements;
➖ strengthening employer involvement in Uzbekistan’s vocational education system;
➖ expanding opportunities for dual education and training specialists in modern professions and fields;
➖ exchanging views on the introduction of international best practices into Uzbekistan’s national vocational education system.
