Organizations that establish dual education programs with technical schools will receive preferential loans of up to UZS 5 billion

According to the resolution:
➖ Organizations that establish dual education programs in cooperation with technical schools will be provided with preferential loans of up to UZS 5 billion for a period of 7 years, including a 2-year grace period, at an annual interest rate 4 percentage points above the Central Bank’s policy rate.
➖ To receive a preferential loan for the first time, an organization must involve at least 5 students in a dual education program for two academic years for every UZS 1 billion of financing and ensure the employment of at least one graduate for a period of at least one year.
➖ The Ministry of Economy and Finance will form the necessary financial resources to provide loans to organizations that have established dual education programs with technical schools and ensured the employment of graduates. Loans to such organizations will be provided using resources from UzNatsBank JSC and Aloqabank JSC.
➖ The Agency will review investors’ proposals for training specialists based on their workforce needs and approve admission quotas for the new academic year at the relevant technical schools, broken down by professions and specialties.
➖ For separate groups formed based on investors’ orders, changes of up to 30 percent may be made to the curricula and educational programs for the relevant professions and specialties, based on proposals from investors.
