Employment Opportunities for Graduates of Vocational Education Institutions to Be Enhanced

A meeting was held between representatives of the Agency for Vocational Education Development, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, and HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed:
- the activities of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in Uzbekistan;
- the current status and future prospects of cooperation in the field of vocational education;
- priority areas and the cooperation model for future collaboration.
The VET4UZ – “Support to Vocational Education in Uzbekistan” project is planned to run for a total of 12 years (2021–2033) and consists of three phases.
The first phase was implemented from 2021 to 2025, the second phase is scheduled for 2026–2029, and the third phase is planned for 2030–2033.
A total of CHF 4.8 million was allocated for the first phase, which has been successfully completed. CHF 2.9 million has been allocated for the second phase, which is currently under implementation. An additional CHF 4.8 million is planned for the third phase.
