Vocational Education Agency

A meeting was held between the Director of the Agency for Professional Education and the Vice President of the UK-based Pearson company, dedicated to issues of cooperation in the field of vocational education.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding bilateral cooperation, introducing international standards into the vocational education system, and elevating existing relations to a new level.

The following key proposals were also put forward during the meeting:

—establishing the activities of an International Office and strengthening institutional cooperation;

—engaging English language teachers and cooperating in their professional development;

—considering the introduction of the Pearson English Testing (PTE) system;

—providing educational literature and teaching materials.

The parties agreed to further develop these proposals in stages, discuss their technical aspects, and define specific cooperation mechanisms during upcoming negotiations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a general agreement was reached to continue cooperation aimed at bringing the vocational education system to an international level, introducing modern educational resources, and training competitive specialists in line with labor market demands.
