The next open dialogue, held in stages by responsible officials of the Agency for young employees of all organizations within the system, took place at the Khorezm Regional Plant Quarantine and Protection Department.
The event was attended by representatives of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency, the Head of the Khorezm Regional Plant Quarantine and Protection Department, a responsible officer of the Khorezm Regional Office of the Ecological Party, as well as all young employees of the department.
In accordance with the tasks set out in Presidential Decree No. PF-37 of February 21, 2024, “On the State Program for the Implementation of the ‘Uzbekistan – 2030’ Strategy in the Year of Supporting Youth and Business,” and in order to continue efforts to enhance the intellectual potential of young people, the open dialogue examined the ideas and aspirations of young staff working in the regional department, the issues and challenges of concern to them, and identified tasks to support youth social initiatives.
Speakers noted that today all necessary conditions have been created in the country for young people to receive education, acquire professional skills, and grow into well-rounded individuals. It was emphasized that special attention is being paid to helping them realize their dreams and goals and to supporting advanced initiatives and ideas.
In addition, Agency officials provided information on the opportunities created for young employees within the system, measures to support their initiatives and ideas, the organization of various sports competitions, the holding of the “Zakovat” intellectual games, as well as the involvement of talented young specialists in retraining courses organized by the Institute for the Study of Youth Problems and Training of Prospective Personnel, and in professional development programs implemented in cooperation with reputable foreign organizations in the field of plant quarantine and protection. Explanations were also given regarding the Agency’s anti-corruption policy, measures to prevent corruption among young employees, and the elimination of factors that may lead to its occurrence.
At the same time, information was provided on the tasks set out in Presidential Resolution No. PP-146 of April 1, 2024, “On Measures to Implement the Tasks Identified during the Dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Entrepreneurs Engaged in the Cultivation, Production, and Export of Agricultural and Food Products.”
At the conclusion of the event, young participants received answers to all their questions, their proposals were heard, and an exchange of views took place.
