Systematic efforts are being carried out in the country to ensure the comprehensive development of the younger generation. The declaration of 2024 by the President as the “Year of Supporting Youth and Business” is another vivid example of the attention and care given to young people.
Within the framework of events held across the Agency’s system under the slogan “Leader and Youth,” another seminar was organized at the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The event was attended by responsible officials of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency, the Head of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, representatives of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as all young employees of the Agency.
The essence of the “Leader and Youth” open dialogue lies in studying the interests of young specialists working within the Agency’s structure, analyzing emerging issues, and assisting in resolving existing problems.
During the meeting, speakers emphasized the content and significance of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy, particularly highlighting the importance of active youth participation in the life of the state and society by making use of the opportunities created under this key strategic document.
In addition, during the dialogue, Agency representatives spoke about the opportunities being created for young employees, the organization of various sports competitions, the holding of the “Zakovat” intellectual games, as well as initiatives such as assigning young specialists who have mastered foreign languages and obtained certificates through the “Ibrat farzandlari” platform.
It was also noted that tasks set out in Presidential Resolution No. PP-146 of April 1, 2024, “On Measures to Implement the Tasks Identified during the Dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Entrepreneurs Engaged in the Cultivation, Production, and Export of Agricultural and Food Products,” are being implemented.
During the event, detailed answers were provided to the questions raised by the young participants. In a warm and sincere atmosphere, plans for further work with youth were also discussed, and it was emphasized that these plans would continue to be enriched based on the opinions and proposals of young employees.
