As a result of the review, it was established that 26 tons 978 kg of onions were exported to Kyrgyzstan through the “Do‘stlik” border checkpoint in Andijan Region. In accordance with international requirements, the products underwent phytosanitary examination under laboratory conditions, following which a positive laboratory conclusion confirming phytosanitary safety was issued.
The phytosanitary certificate for the onion products was issued on January 16 after completion of quarantine control procedures. The грузовой автомобиль arrived at the border with Kyrgyzstan on January 17 at approximately 01:10. According to the entrepreneur, the international phytosanitary certificate, which had been duly issued on the basis of the domestic phytosanitary certificate and the laboratory conclusion, was lost by the truck driver.
After the phytosanitary certificate was found in the truck cabin and presented to the phytosanitary service of Kyrgyzstan, the cargo was allowed to enter the territory of the neighboring state without obstruction.
