Studies on crime prevention and creating a safe environment continue in Navoi region

Under the leadership of Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojanov, studies are being conducted in Navoi region to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the Head of State for the creation of a safe environment in the mahallas and the improvement of the early crime prevention system.
The Republican working group is conducting studies on implementing the requirements of the resolution in all cities and districts of the Navoi region.
In particular, in the "Shahristan" mahalla in Nurota district, where the criminal situation is considered severe, a discussion was organized with the participation of district sector heads, representatives of relevant organizations and the mahalla sevens, where the essence of the resolution was explained, and a number of instructions were given to ensure its implementation. In addition, a presentation was held to the republican working group on the work aimed at curbing crime and preventing crime in the district and the planned work on the activities of the mahalla sevens.
According to it, all six "red" mahallas were assigned by name to the prosecutor's office, internal affairs bodies, the National Guard, and the sector heads. The "Roadmaps" for each of them have been approved. Furthermore, 2 "Model Safe Streets" and 8 "Model Safe Walkways" will be introduced within the district in the first quarter of this year, 65 surveillance cameras will be installed in crowded areas, 30 cameras will be able to recognize faces and license plates, 12 houses and 15 shops will be under National Guard protection, and 15 streets will be equipped with lighting systems.
The republican working group conducted a study in the "Korovultepa" mahalla in the Navbahor district of the region. During the process, a presentation was made on transforming this mahalla, which is highly criminogenic, into a crime-free zone. In particular, in the first quarter of this year, it is planned to install 11 intelligent video surveillance cameras in the mahalla, take 15 houses and 12 shops under the protection of the National Guard, and install lighting devices on 20 streets.
During the event, the heads of the district sectors presented the project "Creating a Model of Orderly Labor Migration" in the Navbahor district. Furthermore, they presented the plans for digitizing the district by the National Guard Protection Department.
During the study, the tasks of the responsible parties aimed at improving the crime situation and early prevention of crimes were discussed. Appropriate instructions were given to eliminate the identified shortcomings.
Currently, the Republican working group is studying the work on early crime prevention in all mahallas in the Navoi region in order to identify specific targeted measures to improve crime rates.
