On June 6, Gulistan hosted an event showcasing amateur mixed martial arts athletes from across the Sirdarya region. The championship took place in the summer arena of the city amphitheater and brought together talented fighters.

Competitors competed for top honors in ten weight categories, demonstrating impressive physical preparation, technical skills, and a strong desire to succeed. Young athletes in the region are becoming increasingly interested in mixed martial arts due to the intense competition in the ring.

Governor of Sirdarya region, representatives of law enforcement agencies, representatives of the sports community, as well as large numbers of spectators attended the opening and closing ceremonies.

Following a series of exciting and hard-fought contests, championship winners and prize-winners were honored for their achievements. The athletes received diplomas, medals, commemorative souvenirs, and the prestigious Cup of the Head of the Sirdarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
