The event was attended by the Agency’s management and specialists, procurement operators, representatives of Uzbekekspertiza JSC, and entrepreneurs. Around 20 participants attended in person at the Agency’s premises, while approximately 50 entrepreneurs followed the live broadcast on YouTube.
The discussion covered procedures for participating in public procurement, the use of electronic procurement systems, recent developments and existing procurement mechanisms, product certification, and documentation required for participation in procurement procedures.
Entrepreneurs also raised issues encountered when participating in public procurement and asked questions regarding procuring entities’ requirements, product conformity assessment, and certification procedures. Relevant specialists provided explanations, and proposals for resolving the identified issues were considered.
An important feature of the open dialogue was that entrepreneurs had the opportunity to communicate their concerns and proposals directly to the Head of the Agency. This format helps identify challenges within the public procurement system, develop practical solutions, and strengthen direct engagement with the business community.
Going forward, open dialogue sessions will be held regularly every Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding public procurement, please register in advance to participate in the open dialogue.
