The event was jointly organized by the Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement, Uzavtosanoat JSC, and the Jizzakh Regional Administration.
A total of 84 industry and regional enterprises participated in the exhibition, showcasing their products, production capacities, and technological capabilities.
Over the two days, the exhibition brought together approximately 1,000 participants, including domestic manufacturers, major automotive companies, public procurement entities, procurement operators, and representatives of industry organizations.
The event provided a platform for discussing new opportunities for industrial cooperation and business partnerships.
This was the third exhibition organized under the fundamentally new framework for localization, industrial cooperation, and public procurement established at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan.
The first two exhibitions were held on May 14–16 in the Akhangaran District, focusing on the mining industry, and on July 15–16 in the Jambay District, focusing on the transport sector.
These exhibitions delivered significant results:
-
Contracts worth UZS 2.9 trillion were signed for 556 types of products.
-
Agreements were reached on concluding 76 guaranteed purchase (offtake) contracts worth UZS 673 billion between major industry enterprises and 18 businesses for the production of new products.
-
Under an enterprise support and mentoring mechanism, major industry companies offered contracts worth UZS 323 billion to 16 enterprises.
-
As part of 70 prospective projects, a list of 856 products worth USD 1.5 billion, identified for potential localization, was compiled and presented to visitors.
The Jizzakh exhibition aimed to expand industrial cooperation between domestic manufacturers and major automotive companies, develop competitive import-substituting automotive components, integrate local enterprises into large-scale production chains, and strengthen value chains within the national economy.
Automotive manufacturers and component suppliers presented their products, production capacities, and technological capabilities.
The exhibition featured automotive components and spare parts, metal products, plastics, rubber and technical products, electrical equipment, and other industrial goods, along with new localization projects, innovative developments, and technological solutions. A dedicated exhibition of these product categories was included in the official event program.
One of the exhibition’s key objectives was to connect the procurement needs of major automotive manufacturers with the production capabilities of domestic suppliers.
Local companies presented their products directly to major customers and held negotiations on localizing imported components, establishing subcontracting arrangements, and developing industrial cooperation.
Emerging Automotive Technologies Showcased in Dedicated Zones
The exhibition featured several thematic zones highlighting current developments and future trends in the automotive industry.
The “Automotive Ecosystem” zone showcased electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, battery technologies, components for electric transportation, and cutaway models of charging stations and battery modules.
The “Digital Automotive Industry” zone presented industrial robots, automated assembly lines, digital twins, digital production management systems, and artificial intelligence-based solutions.
The “Projects of the Future” zone featured investment and localization projects focused on developing new import-substituting products. Opportunities to implement these initiatives through industrial cooperation and guaranteed offtake agreements were also discussed.
Particular Attention Paid to Integrating Science, Education, and Industry
The exhibition also addressed the importance of scientific research and skilled workforce development for the automotive industry.
In the “Startups and Innovations” zone, young engineering teams showcased their automotive-related developments and participated in project pitch sessions.
Particular attention was given to strengthening cooperation among enterprises within Uzavtosanoat JSC, higher education institutions, and research centers in the areas of research and development (R&D), dual education, workforce training, mentorship programs, innovation, and startup development.
Participants Visited Automotive Manufacturing Facilities
As part of the exhibition program, presentations highlighted the production capacities, product ranges, technological capabilities, localization levels, and new product development plans of automotive enterprises operating in the Jizzakh Region.
Participants also visited BYD Uzbekistan Factory and ADM Jizzakh, where they learned about manufacturing processes, production lines, capacity, product portfolios, localization levels, and opportunities for industrial cooperation.
On the second day, presentations focused on developing import-substituting automotive products, using locally sourced raw materials and components, introducing new product categories, and integrating domestic enterprises into industrial cooperation chains.
Meetings between major manufacturers and local suppliers addressed ways to align customer demand with production capabilities, identify promising products, and develop new cooperation projects.
B2B and B2G Negotiations Focused on Practical Agreements
Throughout the two-day exhibition, business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) negotiations focused on the supply of domestically manufactured products, the development of industrial cooperation and subcontracting arrangements, localization of new products, conclusion of offtake contracts, and the formation of future procurement pipelines.
The exhibition provided domestic manufacturers with an opportunity to directly assess the needs of major automotive companies, showcase their products and manufacturing capabilities, establish new partnerships, and explore opportunities to enter automotive supply chains.
One of the key highlights was the presentation by Uzbekexpertiza JSC of a Certificate of Locally Manufactured Goods for the Sonet Prime vehicle produced by ADM Jizzakh.
The vehicle's local content level is 37 percent.
In addition, three memoranda of cooperation were signed to strengthen the integration of science, education, and industrial production:
-
UzAuto Motors JSC and the Institute of Materials Science;
-
UzAuto Motors JSC and Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute;
-
Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and the Institute of Materials Science.
These agreements aim to promote the application of scientific research in automotive manufacturing, develop new technological solutions, train qualified specialists, and strengthen practical cooperation between academia and industry.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, outstanding participants were recognized in five categories:
-
Best Exhibition Stand — ADMC Dasan LLC;
-
Most Promising Innovative Startup — Jizzakh Polytechnic University;
-
Highest Level of Localization — Jizzakh Battery Plant JSC;
-
Best Industrial Cooperation Project — Navoiy Auto Components LLC;
-
Most Attractive Investment Project — Hansae Mobility Turan Foreign Enterprise LLC.
The significance of the “National Industrial Chain” exhibition lies in the fact that domestic manufacturers, many of which previously worked primarily with a single major customer, now have the opportunity to offer their products to multiple industrial enterprises simultaneously, establish relationships with new customers, and become integrated into additional manufacturing and supply chains.
