Cooperation with the Republic of Korea in Public Procurement and Industrial Cooperation to Be Expanded

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to study the Republic of Korea’s advanced experience in public procurement and digitalization, particularly the experience of the KONEPS electronic public procurement system, as well as ways to develop cooperation with KOICA in the areas of grant assistance and technical support.
The parties also exchanged views on prospects for implementing joint projects aimed at integrating innovative solutions into industry, enhancing the technological capacity of local manufacturers, and developing industrial cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the effective organization of the Agency delegation’s planned visit to the Republic of Korea on 28–30 September 2026. In this context, proposals were considered for establishing practical cooperation with leading Korean organizations in the fields of public procurement, industry, innovation, and small business support.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to consistently develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas of public procurement digitalization, industrial cooperation, technology transfer, and institutional capacity building.
