💬 The meeting was organized as part of preparations for the 6th Open Dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Entrepreneurs.

🏛️ The event was attended by the Agency’s management, operators of electronic public procurement systems, representatives of international organizations and the expert community, supervisory authorities, local manufacturers, business entities, and representatives of relevant organizations.

🎤 The meeting focused on supporting local manufacturers through public procurement, expanding their participation in procurement processes, developing industrial cooperation, as well as directly addressing the challenges and barriers faced by entrepreneurs in their business activities.

📍 It should be noted that from May to August of this year, around 3,000 entrepreneurs participated in open dialogues organized by the Agency across the regions. They raised 447 issues and proposals, of which 155 were resolved on the spot, while legal and practical guidance was provided on 75 issues. Appropriate measures were identified for another 214 issues, with their implementation placed under supervision.

💬 During the open dialogue, entrepreneurs directly raised questions, discussed challenges encountered in their business activities, and presented practical proposals to the Agency’s management and representatives of relevant organizations. Each issue was thoroughly discussed with the participation of responsible officials, and specific tasks were assigned to address them.

Particular attention was also paid to expanding the participation of women entrepreneurs in public procurement. In particular, the importance of enhancing their knowledge and skills in effectively using electronic procurement platforms, preparing tender documentation, and participating in competitive procurement procedures was emphasized. The need to increase the participation of locally manufactured products produced by women entrepreneurs in public procurement was also highlighted.

📑 In addition, entrepreneurs were provided with detailed information on ongoing reforms in the public procurement system, new opportunities being created for local manufacturers, and the effective use of electronic procurement systems.

✔️ At the conclusion of the open dialogue, tasks were set to systematically review the issues and proposals raised by entrepreneurs, develop practical solutions in cooperation with relevant organizations, and monitor their implementation.
