📌 Localization and Industrial Cooperation Projects Studied in Andijan Region

➡️ During the visit, localization projects being implemented in the region, industrial cooperation ties, and challenges faced by enterprises were thoroughly reviewed.
Initially, the delegation visited the foreign enterprise “China Baoli”, operating in the “Ipak Yuli” Free Economic Industrial Zone of Andijan district, and became acquainted with its aluminum profile and electric scooter manufacturing projects.
During the meeting with the company’s management, issues related to raw material imports, customs payments, and product quality were discussed. The parties also agreed to provide practical assistance in establishing cooperation with Tajikistan’s “Talco” aluminum plant.
In addition, within the framework of the electric bus manufacturing project being implemented by “Silk road cambell”, concrete measures were identified to localize up to 50 percent of product components, expand cooperation with regional enterprises, and utilize customs incentives.
During the visit, the activities of the “School of Engineers” at UzAuto Motors were also reviewed, and discussions were held with specialists regarding localization projects in the automotive industry.
Furthermore, production processes at “SDK Group” enterprise in Shahrixon district were studied, and relevant tasks were outlined to address issues related to raw materials, certification, and industrial cooperation raised by the enterprise.
Deputy Director of the Agency I. Pardayev and regional governor Sh. Abdurahmanov also identified necessary measures to support 124 projects included in the regional localization program, provide them with practical assistance during implementation, and increase growth rates by the end of the year.
In addition, a meeting with entrepreneurs was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where existing issues were discussed. Explanations were provided regarding the benefits established under Presidential Decree PF-17, and a roadmap was approved to address the issues raised.
