International cooperation is reaching a new level
An important working meeting was held with the participation of the leadership of the Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement and representatives of Ernst & Young.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the priority areas for further improving the Agency’s activities, modernizing the public procurement system, and developing industrial cooperation. The participants emphasized the importance of adapting advanced international practices to the national system in order to build an effective and sustainable management model.
➡️ The discussions focused on the following areas:
— implementation of a PMO (Project Management Office) system to effectively manage industrial cooperation projects and support localization processes;
— transformation of public procurement based on the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) principle to encourage local producers;
— development of a modern digital management infrastructure covering all areas of the Agency’s activities;
— introduction of AI-based analytical systems for monitoring market prices and analyzing KPI indicators;
— establishment of a “Procurement School” to enhance professional capacity and facilitate knowledge exchange.
The cooperation will be carried out based on the following principles:
— adaptation of international experience to the conditions of Uzbekistan;
— ensuring simplicity and efficiency in the implementation of management models;
— systematic and well-structured management of transformation processes.
✔️ Following the meeting, the parties:
— defined the first-stage tasks within the Quick Wins strategy;
— discussed mechanisms of cooperation and the format of working meetings;
— agreed on timelines for developing the Agency’s institutional and digital governance models.
This meeting marked an important step towards introducing advanced international practices into the Agency’s activities, accelerating systemic reforms, and increasing overall efficiency
