Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement Agency

On February 24 of this year, an open dialogue between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and young people took place. During the meeting, the Head of State emphasized the need for leaders at all levels to intensify efforts in teaching youth foreign languages and professional skills, engaging them in sports, supporting their ideas, projects, and startups, and ensuring their employment and income.

🎤 In addition, it was established that every Thursday would be observed as “Youth Day” in ministries and government agencies.

To ensure the implementation of these directives, the Director of the Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement, Bakhtiyor Khaydarov, held a meeting with students of the Singapore Institute of Management Development in Tashkent.

During the meeting, the Agency’s Director reviewed presentations of startup projects developed by the students. Practical support measures for each project were outlined in cooperation with relevant ministries, agencies, and organizations.

An agreement was also reached to provide internship opportunities for students at “O‘zbekekspertiza” JSC under the Agency.

At the end of the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Agency and the Institute. The Agency’s Director also ознакомился with the educational process and modern practical training infrastructure created for students.

This cooperation will contribute to unlocking the innovative potential of young people, equipping them with practical skills, and shaping them into competitive specialists in the future.
