The project is implemented as part of the Presidential Resolution No. PQ-115, dated March 19, 2025 — “On measures to effectively organize the activities of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Relations with Compatriots Abroad.” Its main goal is to raise public awareness about the nation’s policies aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony, tolerance, and civic unity.
According to the Committee’s press service, the initiative allows passengers to stay informed about key developments in interethnic relations, cooperation with compatriots abroad, and cultural exchange while traveling.
“Our mission is to bring the message of unity closer to every citizen. Trains connect people from all regions of the country, and placing the ‘Uzbekistan’ magazine in this space carries deep symbolic meaning,” said a Committee representative.
The “Uzbekistan” magazine is a social-political and cultural publication available in Uzbek, Russian, and English languages. It covers topics such as interethnic harmony, national culture, and Uzbekistan’s engagement with its diaspora communities.
Officials noted that the project marks an important step in advancing people’s diplomacy by creating new channels of communication between state institutions and the public, reinforcing the shared values of friendship and solidarity.
