The memorandums aim to strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation, promote the Uzbek language and culture abroad, and support the initiatives of compatriots, fostering closer ties between the diaspora and their homeland.
“These memorandums mark a new stage in building lasting partnerships with our compatriots abroad. Our goal is to support their initiatives and engage them in the reforms and progress taking place in Uzbekistan,” said a representative of the Committee.
Millions of Uzbeks around the world play an important role as cultural ambassadors of their nation, contributing to international dialogue and cultural exchange. Strengthening cooperation with diaspora organizations has become a key direction of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy, fostering unity and preserving national identity.
Officials note that such partnerships create a strong foundation for implementing joint projects in education, culture, and youth development while expanding cross-border collaboration.
“Every compatriot is an ambassador of Uzbekistan’s culture and values. Working closely with them not only strengthens people-to-people ties but also enhances Uzbekistan’s image and influence on the global stage,” the Committee’s statement reads.
