Roundtable discussion “Uzbekistan – our common Homeland” held in Tashkent

Opening the session, Committee Chairman Kahramon Sariyev emphasized the importance of interethnic harmony, tolerance, and fostering patriotism among the younger generation. Speakers highlighted the need to strengthen cooperation between cultural centers and friendship societies, promote respect for national and universal values among youth, and expand cultural and educational exchanges with foreign countries.
The discussion also underlined the role of the newly inaugurated pavilions of national cultural centers, which have become important platforms for preserving and promoting the traditions, customs, and heritage of various ethnic groups to the younger generation.
According to Deputy Chairman Bekzod Shukurov, the main goal of the roundtable was to promote the unity and solidarity of Uzbekistan as a common homeland, and to enhance effective dialogue and cooperation among national cultural centers and friendship societies.
Participants agreed that strengthening interethnic harmony and fostering youth respect for universal values remain among the top priorities of state policy. The roundtable and the activities of the cultural pavilions further enhance the Committee’s effectiveness in this area.
