“The Spirit and Miracle of the New Year in New Uzbekistan”: Cultures United in a Festive Celebration

The celebration brought together activists of national cultural centers, members of friendship societies, media representatives, and the general public. Held on the eve of the New Year, the event reflected Uzbekistan’s commitment to strengthening interethnic harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect.
This was followed by a symbolic opening ceremony of the New Year festivities at the pavilion. Guests explored exhibitions organized by national cultural centers, showcasing traditional costumes, handicrafts, national cuisine, and displays highlighting the rich cultural heritage of various ethnic communities.
The artistic segment featured a vibrant concert program performed by renowned artists and creative groups from national cultural centers. Music and dance performances vividly demonstrated cultural diversity and unity.
The event played an important role in strengthening friendship, solidarity, and mutual understanding in society. Today, 157 national cultural centers operate across Uzbekistan, playing a key role in preserving ethnic traditions, languages, and cultural heritage, with consistent support from the state.
