The Committee on Interethnic Relations and Compatriots abroad of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The discussion brought together representatives of government and public organizations, friendship societies, higher education institutions, and students. Participants focused on the growing importance of artificial intelligence in education and explored ways to apply digital technologies to enhance cooperation between sister cities.

It was noted that artificial intelligence is becoming a key driver of modern urban development worldwide. Its application in education, research, and city governance can elevate inter-city partnerships to a new level and foster more effective international collaboration.

During the roundtable, participants exchanged views on launching joint online educational platforms, developing collaborative academic and youth projects, and studying international best practices, including the experience of German cities in digital transformation and innovation.

Experts also emphasized the need for ethical use of artificial intelligence, data security, and maintaining a human-centered approach in digital processes. According to the speakers, advanced technologies should contribute to strengthening interethnic harmony and promoting intercultural dialogue.

The event concluded with proposals to expand cooperation among sister cities in the field of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, as well as to deepen collaboration between universities and civil society institutions, laying the groundwork for future practical initiatives.
