“Youth Unity Is the Strength of the Nation” Dialogue Held in Tashkent

The dialogue aimed to enhance youth engagement in public life, strengthen interethnic harmony, and support youth initiatives in implementing state policy. Around 60 participants took part, including members of the Youth Parliament, representatives of the Alliance of Sister Cities, friendship societies, national cultural centers, and the media.
The event opened with a video presentation highlighting Uzbekistan’s state youth policy. In his opening remarks, Committee Chairman K. Sariyev emphasized that youth unity and tolerance are key factors in ensuring the country’s sustainable development.
O. Sobitov, Chairman of the Youth Parliament, delivered a presentation on the role of the Youth Parliament as a platform representing the voices and initiatives of young people in the legislative process.
Leaders of the Turkmen and Kazakh national cultural centers shared their views on the role of youth in promoting interethnic harmony. During the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Committee and the Youth Parliament to elevate their partnership to a new level.
Youth Parliament members actively participated in discussions, sharing proposals aimed at expanding youth involvement in governance. In the cultural segment, participants visited a pavilion showcasing performances and exhibitions by representatives of various ethnic communities.
The dialogue served as an important platform for fostering friendship, unity, and patriotism among young people.
