The festival was jointly organized by the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Committee for Interethnic Relations and Compatriots Abroad. It aimed to implement the objectives set out in Presidential Decree No.–52 dated March 19, 2025, while strengthening nationwide unity in Uzbekistan’s multicultural society.
A key focus of the festival was the art of lullaby singing as a means of passing on national identity, maternal care, and moral values to children. Lullabies performed live in Uzbek, Kirgiz, Kazakh, Tatar, Turkmen, Tajik, Korean, and other languages reflected the cultural richness and shared traditions of different peoples.
Speakers emphasized that lullabies are not merely songs but a powerful form of upbringing and a bridge connecting generations through love and care.
The practical segment of the festival featured master classes on infant care, traditional cradle practices, swaddling, and breastfeeding. These sessions provided useful guidance for young mothers and newly formed families.
At the conclusion of the festival, participants received certificates and commemorative gifts. The event ended with a collective performance of lullabies, symbolizing unity, motherhood, and interethnic harmony. The festival was recognized as an important cultural and educational initiative fostering family values and national solidarity.
