The festival brought together representatives of national cultural centers, friendship societies, the “Sister Cities Alliance,” students, and officials of the Committee. The gathering aimed to promote civic engagement among youth and strengthen dialogue between various ethnic communities living in the country.
Musical performances by cultural center members and university students added a festive atmosphere, highlighting the cultural diversity that characterizes modern Uzbekistan.
Participants discussed the country’s policy on interethnic harmony, the constitutional principles guaranteeing religious tolerance, and the role of youth in supporting social stability. Organizers noted that such events play an important role in fostering a spirit of respect, unity, and cooperation.
“Today’s festival once again shows that Uzbekistan is a shared home for people of many nationalities. The intellectual quiz also helps young people strengthen their legal literacy and civic awareness,” a Committee representative stated.
The organizers emphasized their intention to expand similar cultural initiatives and launch joint projects aimed at promoting tolerance, civic responsibility, and interethnic understanding.
