The event aimed to promote interethnic harmony, religious tolerance, and universal human values, while encouraging young people to embrace peace, kindness, and mutual respect.
The contest took place at the Children’s Music and Vocational School No.10 in the Turon neighborhood of Qo‘ng‘irot. Among the participants were U. Tileumuratova, head of the local branch of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, and Y. Kalekeev, chief specialist of the district branch of the Committee on Religious Affairs, as well as teachers, parents, and students.
Speakers emphasized that tolerance is not only about accepting diversity but also about strengthening peace, mutual respect, and solidarity in society.
“Instilling the value of tolerance in young minds means building the foundation for a stable and just future,” said U. Tileumuratova.
Young participants presented creative artworks reflecting themes of friendship, harmony, and peace. The drawings illustrated Uzbekistan’s multicultural unity and the shared human values that connect its people.
At the closing ceremony, winners and active participants were awarded certificates, and the best works were selected for a district-level exhibition.
“Such initiatives play a vital role in shaping a culture of peace, humanity, and interethnic understanding among youth,” noted Y. Kalekeev.
Throughout the week, similar educational and cultural events will continue across Kongirat, further promoting the values of peace, tolerance, and friendship that lie at the heart of Uzbekistan’s social harmony.
