Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A study tour was organized to Germany on the second phase of implementation of the components implemented by GOPA. 
The trip will be attended by specialists working within the project, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Uztekstilprom Association, teachers and specialists from the Tashkent and Namangan Institutes of Textile and Light Industry.

The main goal of this training is to study Germany’s best practices in introducing dual higher education in Uzbekistan, familiarize themselves with the dual education system in the country, as well as exchange experience with experts in this field and further strengthen the project. During the trip, participants will visit the German cities of Cologne, Mönchengladbach, Dusseldorf and Berlin.

During the program, representatives of Uzbekistan visited the Lower Rhine University of Applied Sciences, the Dusseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Academy of Fashion and Design, the Higher School of Engineering and Economics HTW 9, and also got acquainted with the activities of spinning workshops and textile factories in the region.

Also, as part of the program, project participants will meet with German experts and specialists in the textile industry, and it is also planned to organize negotiations on dual vocational education, international market trends and modern solutions.

Based on the results of the program, a final document will be compiled and presented to partner organizations, containing opinions and proposals on the organization of dual higher education and its implementation in the conditions of Uzbekistan based on the experience gained by participants in Germany.
