It was attended by officials of the Ministry, representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency, senior employees of anti-corruption departments of higher educational institutions in Tashkent, students and media representatives.

The event was opened by First Deputy Minister Komiljon Karimov. He spoke about the work done in 2023 to identify, prevent and eliminate corruption risks in the system.

It was noted that given the low level of work efficiency in 3 universities, employment contracts with the heads of the anti-corruption department of these higher educational institutions were dismissed.

As noted, out of 56 requests of various contents sent to the ministry this year from students and citizens, they were received through communication channels (Telegram channel, bot and hotlines) organized by the ministry.

In order to improve the culture of fighting corruption in the system and preventing corruption offenses, remote communication with citizens has been established; applications are also accepted through the phone number 08-08 (179), email address anticor@yedu.uz, as well as official telegram bots @YeduuzuniversalBot and @EduAntiCorruptionBot.

An anonymous survey was conducted among more than 3,000 students in order to obtain additional information about the presence of corruption risks in the education system and to identify employees with a tendency to commit corruption offenses. The information obtained during anonymous surveys was analyzed by the anti-corruption departments of universities, and in order to prevent it, appropriate proposals were made to the management of universities for implementation.

At the end of the event, participants received answers to their questions from experts. Then the participants were introduced to the activities of the ministry, informed about the tasks of each department, office and department, as well as the work they have been carrying out in recent years.
