Minister K. Sharipov gave information on the development of science and technology in Uzbekistan, achievements in the field of scientific research, and the results achieved in strengthening international cooperation. In particular, achievements in scientific research and the selection of practical projects in the fields of information technology, agriculture, climate change, water conservation and irrigation technologies were noted.

It was noted that it is important to continue joint scientific projects and the exchange of young scientists between scientists of the two countries. Issues of continuing short-term internship programs for young scientists from Uzbekistan in higher educational institutions and scientific institutions of Iran, joint participation in international scientific forums and conferences were also discussed.

Ambassador Muhammadali Iskandari, in turn, expressed support for the proposals of the Uzbek side. He stated that he was ready to further intensify cooperation between technology, higher education and scientific institutions, and emphasized the need to strengthen mutual efforts in implementing these proposals. At the same time, he invited representatives of Uzbekistan to take part in the international exhibition held in Tehran.

This meeting was an important step in the further development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of science, technology and higher education.
