The parties discussed issues of further expansion of cooperation in the field of higher education and science between the two countries. In particular, an exchange of views took place on supporting the activities of the newly created branch of the South Kazakhstan University named after Mukhtar Avezov in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region, and the branch of the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers", created on the basis of the Kazakhstan National Agrarian University in Almaty.
