Following the results of experience exchange and discussion of perspective plans for further development of effective cooperation in transport, logistics, mechanical engineering, geology, metallurgy, energy, chemistry, IT-technologies and other important areas at the plenary sessions of the conference, the parties adopted a joint statement.
About 40 co-operation agreements were signed between the engineering and technical universities of the two countries to expand relations in the field of scientific and innovation sphere and higher technical education.
As it was noted, consistent integration of the educational space of Russia and Uzbekistan, development of intellectual and creative potential of citizens are beneficial for both countries.
Joint study programmes, inter-university educational and scientific projects, teacher training programmes, regular joint forums and conferences clearly testify to the activity and systemic nature of our cooperation,’ Minister Kongratbay Sharipov said.
