The conference of engineering and technical universities of Uzbekistan and Russia has started its work

The conference highlighted the need to continue the implementation of inter-university projects in the field of training in the most demanded areas and specialties of the labour market. Particular emphasis was placed on the expansion of joint scientific and innovative research and professional development of professors and teachers.
Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov emphasised the importance of focusing on the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in master's, postgraduate and doctoral studies.
- It is important to create ‘Schools of Advanced Engineering Schools’ with the cooperation of universities of Uzbekistan and Russia specialising in engineering and technical fields, such important areas as transport, logistics, mechanical engineering, geology, metallurgy, energy, chemistry, as well as cluster systems ‘enterprise-university-scientific organisation’ and innovation centres,’ said Minister K. Sharipov.
