The nature of Amankutan Park has been damaged in the amount of more than 1 billion sums

The situation was studied by the operational working group of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change. As a result, it turned out that the violators used equipment to level and dig a pit in the park. Also, on an area of 869 m2 belonging to the "Amankutan" National Nature Park, a road has been formed connecting with "Takhti Karacha" pass. This resulted in damage to a total of 64 trees and shrubs of 7 species, of which 27 trees and shrubs were cut down or torn from the base, and the remaining 37 were damaged to the point of cessation of growth. Damage to the flora of the park is estimated at 67 million 726 thousand sums.
In addition, as a result of road construction works on an area of 2,296 m2, 2,591 plants of 12 rare, endangered, and unique species listed in the Red Book were damaged. As a result, nature suffered damage in the amount of 1 billion 48 million sums.
In total, the amount of damage is 1 billion 115 million sums.
The collected documents on the case have been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office in order to take appropriate measures.
