During the conference, which will be held at the Event Hall, presentations will be made on the work being carried out on the expansion of the sphere of social services and the reduction of poverty, the improvement of the standard of living of the population, the support of families and women in need of social protection, the development of the social service system, and the effective migration policy, and rountable are organized.
The conference that dedicated to the activities of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will be attended by about 30 partners - experts from prestigious international organizations.
International experts will study the methods and results of Uzbekistan's achievements in the implementation of relevant anti-poverty measures, including their effectiveness, in order to popularize the experience gained in developing countries.
The lectures will be attended by Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Bekhzod Musaev, representative of the Canadian company Work Global Canada, Professor Paul Shelley, head of the Lithuanian organization Eurodas Roman Kholenkov, president of the Bulgarian association United Business Clubs Vesselin Halachev.
The conference will explore the world's best practices in combating poverty, a coherent comprehensive approach to eradicating multidimensional poverty in the coming years, setting joint research priorities with a special focus on social protection and targeted assistance, and discussing how to improve the quality of training programs in the labor market through improving human capital , issues supporting the growth of small businesses and expanding employment opportunities.
After that, a video presentation will be held on the reforms carried out by the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction on the topic "New Uzbekistan - a social state."
The events of the Week of International Partnership Initiatives will continue with a round table discussion on the topic "The role and prospects of Uzbekistan in the process of globalization of the international labor market."
During the discussions, the proposals and opinions of Jani Havunun, CEO of the Finnish company Smart Workers Ltd, Johannes Meyer, general manager for business development of the Swiss company Globogate Concept AG, and Norio Amemiya, president of the Japan Regio Sahou Association, will be presented during the discussions.

In 2017, employment services were provided to 270,000 people, and by now, 1 million citizens are being employed per year, while services in this regard have increased 3 times compared to 2016.
One of the first in the countries of Central Asia was launched a system for concluding labor contracts between employers and employees and maintaining electronic labor records.
A new system of training the unemployed population, including young people and women, in modern professional and entrepreneurial skills has been created.
52 vocational training centers with an annual capacity of more than 100 thousand people, 574 vocational training centers, 28 Ishga Markhamat monocenters have been launched. The volume of vocational training for the unemployed increased 24 times in 2022 compared to 2016. The practice of allocating 30 types of subsidies has been introduced to ensure the employment of low-income family members and the start of entrepreneurial activities.
Over the past four years, 200 thousand people have been employed through the allocation of 531 billion soums of subsidies from the state budget.
As a result of the reforms, the poverty rate fell from 17 percent to 14.1 percent in 2022.
Until 2017, intergovernmental agreements on migration issues were signed with 3, and today with 22 foreign countries. As a result, the provision of decent jobs for those willing to work in developed countries has increased 10 times.
