Training Course on Enhancing the Effectiveness of Working with Citizens' Appeals

To ensure the implementation of the tasks assigned during the videoconference meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on improving the system for handling citizens' appeals, advancing the activities of the People's Receptions to a new level, and conducting an in-depth analysis of public opinion, a three-day training course for regional leaders was organized through the joint efforts of the Management Efficiency Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Public Policy and Governance, and the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment.

The training course was attended by the heads of the regional, district (city) departments for poverty reduction and employment promotion.

The training program was designed to strengthen the professional knowledge and practical skills of regional leaders, improve the effectiveness of working with citizens' appeals, prevent corruption, and introduce modern management approaches into practice.

During the course, the following topics were covered:

▫️ Results-oriented management and new approaches to employment promotion and poverty reduction;

▫️ Combating corruption in the poverty reduction and employment system: principles of integrity and justice;

▫️ The importance of public policy and adopted decisions in the development of the sector;

▫️ The responsibility of leaders for the effective implementation of poverty reduction programs.

This training course will contribute to improving management efficiency in the regions, enhancing the system for handling citizens' appeals, and accelerating the implementation of reforms aimed at poverty reduction and ensuring employment.
