Tasks set to reduce poverty in the Saxovat and Sohibkor mahallas

As previously reported, Bukhara District Hokim Anvarjon Ochilov is visiting mahallas and studying on site the work being carried out to ensure employment, increase family incomes, and reduce poverty.
The next destinations were the Saxovat and Sohibkor mahallas. During the visit, issues related to ensuring employment, supporting low-income families, increasing household incomes, and making effective use of available opportunities were studied.
First, a meeting was held at the Saxovat mahalla building with citizens living in the Sohibkor and Saxovat mahallas who are included in the social registry. Their problems, proposals, and initiatives were heard, and issues related to ensuring their employment, creating sources of income, and addressing social problems were discussed.
Currently, 3,359 people, 859 families, and 554 households reside in the Saxovat mahalla. There are 33 low-income families and 30 unemployed citizens in the mahalla.
During the meeting, specific tasks were identified to involve low-income families in income-generating activities, provide employment for unemployed citizens, provide vocational training, establish entrepreneurial activities, and make effective use of available opportunities.
The current situation in the Sohibkor mahalla was also studied. The mahalla has 1,763 residents, 489 families, and 331 households. Of these, 12 families belong to the low-income category, while 30 citizens are registered as unemployed.
The district hokim emphasized the need to work with each family on an individual basis, taking into account their opportunities and needs, in cooperation with the mahalla “seven”, to help low-income families overcome poverty and provide unemployed citizens with stable sources of income.
During the meeting, attention was also paid to vocational training, establishing entrepreneurial activities, and creating additional sources of income through preferential loans and other available opportunities.
Anvarjon Ochilov listened carefully to citizens’ appeals and emphasized the importance of studying each issue directly on site and finding practical solutions. Relevant instructions were given to responsible officials to monitor the issues raised in the appeals and ensure the implementation of the assigned tasks.
Work in the Saxovat and Sohibkor mahallas to reduce poverty will continue consistently through the effective use of available opportunities, development of entrepreneurship, creation of new jobs, ensuring employment, and increasing family incomes.
