In Kunji Qal’a mahalla of Bukhara District, consistent efforts are being made to develop sheep farming and breeding, one of the important areas of the livestock sector.
Ravshan Bukhara Arashan Selection LLC, which began its operations in early 2026, has achieved tangible results in a short period in increasing livestock numbers, raising breeding sheep, and establishing selective breeding activities.
Under the leadership of Rahmonali Hoshimov, particular attention is being paid to breeding Arashan sheep. At present, the number of sheep at the farm has reached 1,000 head, with plans to increase this figure to 3,000 head in the future.
To develop the breeding sector, the company plans to import high-quality pedigree sheep, adapt them to local climatic conditions, and further improve selective breeding practices aimed at obtaining high-quality offspring.
The enterprise is paying particular attention to creating the necessary conditions for livestock care, strengthening the feed base, establishing veterinary services, and continuously monitoring the health of the animals.
The expansion of this activity will create new jobs, increase public interest in livestock farming, and expand opportunities to increase the number of pedigree livestock in the area.
The future plans of Ravshan Bukhara Arashan Selection LLC include not only increasing the number of sheep, but also improving breeding practices and establishing the production of highly productive livestock.
Such projects contribute to the development of the livestock sector in Bukhara District, the production of high-quality livestock products, and further enhancement of the economic potential of the sector.
