Human Dignity and the Future of Youth — at the Center of Attention

On the eve of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a charitable event was organized in Bukhara District aimed at supporting socially vulnerable families, creating the necessary conditions for their children to receive a quality education, and providing comprehensive support and encouragement to young people.
The event was held at Secondary School No. 25 of Bukhara District through cooperation between the district administration and the “Mahalla” Charitable Public Foundation. Heads of enterprises and organizations led by Bukhara District Governor Anvarjon Ochilov took part in the event.
During the event, school uniforms were presented to 55 children from socially vulnerable families. This good initiative will help children start the new academic year properly prepared, reduce the financial burden on families, and provide equal opportunities for their children to receive education.
Practical assistance was also provided to support socially vulnerable families, promote their employment, and create sustainable sources of income. In particular, a woman included in the red category of the “Poverty Register” received the necessary equipment to launch a beauty salon, while a young person was provided with welding equipment.
Such practical support helps citizens become self-employed, earn income through vocational skills, and improve the well-being of their families. Most importantly, alongside supporting socially vulnerable groups, the necessary conditions are being created for them to generate sustainable income independently in the future.
Special attention was also paid to further improving the effectiveness of work with young people in mahallas. To this end, one youth leader was presented with a computer set, while two other youth leaders received sets of books.
These gifts will provide additional opportunities for youth leaders to organize their work with young people in mahallas in a modern and effective manner, study their problems, support their initiatives, and help them spend their free time meaningfully.
Today, the state is creating broad opportunities for young people to gain knowledge, acquire professional skills, master modern technologies, and realize their potential. Such charitable initiatives held in Bukhara District provide practical support for these opportunities and contribute to strengthening attention to young people and socially vulnerable families.
Promoting human dignity, supporting families in need, ensuring employment, and creating decent conditions for young people are among the important priorities of the work being carried out in Bukhara District.
