The birth of a son is a great joy for every family, and every parent dreams of celebrating this important occasion with relatives and loved ones by hosting a festive gathering, if circumstances allow. However, due to various family circumstances and life challenges, some families do not have the opportunity to organize a proper circumcision celebration for their children.
Today, Uzbekistan is implementing a number of noble initiatives aimed at raising public morale and supporting socially vulnerable and low-income families in connection with the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
One such charitable event was also organized in Bukhara District. On the initiative of Bukhara District Hokim Anvarjon Ochilov, a circumcision celebration was held for children from families who have lost their breadwinners, as well as socially vulnerable and low-income families.
The event, held at the “Muhayyo” banquet hall, brought together the families of 23 children to celebrate their circumcision ceremony. Speaking at the event, Bukhara District Hokim Anvarjon Ochilov sincerely congratulated those gathered on the 35th anniversary of the independence of Uzbekistan and congratulated the parents of the children on this joyful occasion.
During the event, the importance of ongoing efforts in the country to provide social support to the population, assist families in need, ensure proper child upbringing and create a достойное future for children was emphasized.
The children also received bicycles and various toys as gifts from sponsors. These gifts added to the children's joy and brought a special festive atmosphere to the celebration.
— Today has been a great source of joy for our family. I am extremely happy that my child's circumcision celebration is being held in such a beautiful and memorable way. Such attention and care have lifted our spirits tremendously. I would like to express my gratitude for the attention given in our country to human dignity and family well-being, — said Dilnoza Samadova, a resident of the “Podshohi” mahalla.
Oltinoy G‘afforova, a resident of the “Navruz” mahalla, also shared her sincere thoughts:
— Celebrating my child's circumcision is a great joy for our family. We are very pleased with the attention and care shown to us at today's event. In particular, seeing the joy on the children's faces made us, the parents, extremely happy as well. Such noble initiatives provide families not only with material assistance, but also with moral support. I express my sincere gratitude to the organizers, sponsors and everyone who contributed to this event.
As part of the artistic program, performers from the district's Department of Culture presented theatrical performances, songs and musical numbers. The festive program brought joy and lifted the spirits of the children and their families.
Indeed, such noble initiatives not only bring joy to children, but also strengthen attention and care for socially vulnerable families, further promoting the important values of respect for human dignity and compassion.
