The Naqshband Crafts Center in Bukhara District is carrying out consistent efforts to preserve national handicraft traditions, teach young people the secrets of traditional crafts, and support talented and creative youth.
One of these young creative talents is Nusratillayeva Sabina. She grew up with a deep love for art and craftsmanship from an early age. According to her, her interest in painting and visual arts developed while she was still at school. She received her first lessons in this field from her father, Akmal Mukhiddinov, the head of the Naqshband Crafts Center.
Sabina learned many secrets of artistic craftsmanship from her father and gradually developed her interest in visual art. This passion encouraged her to pursue higher education in the field of visual arts.
Today, after completing her higher education in visual arts, Nusratillayeva Sabina shares her knowledge and experience with young people. At the Naqshband Crafts Center, she teaches painting as well as the traditional Uzbek art of straw craft, contributing to the development of young people's creative abilities.
Sabina's creative work is recognized not only in Bukhara District but also at events held at the national and international levels. She has participated several times in the International Week of Applied Visual Arts held in Tashkent, presenting examples of her creative work.
In addition, in 2024, she participated together with her father, Akmal Mukhiddinov, in an international week held in London. Through such events, Sabina contributes to showcasing Uzbekistan's national art and handicraft traditions at the international level.
Today, Sabina continues her father's legacy by passing on the skills and experience she gained from him to the younger generation. Her efforts to promote painting and the traditional art of straw craft among young people play an important role in ensuring the continuity of handicraft traditions.
In short, the creative journey of Nusratillayeva Sabina is an inspiring example of a young artist who, following in her father's footsteps, is preserving and passing the traditions of national art and craftsmanship on to a new generation.
