A meeting between the district leadership and young people was held at the Bukhara District Hokimiyat as part of the "Thursday – Youth Day" initiative. The main purpose of the open dialogue was to listen directly to the concerns and proposals of young people, find practical solutions to the issues they face, and exchange views on making effective use of the opportunities created by the government for youth.
The event was attended by the Hokim of Bukhara District, Anvarjon Ochilov, members of the Republican Working Group established to introduce a fundamentally new system of working with youth, deputy hokims of the district, heads of relevant organizations and institutions, responsible officials, and young people representing various mahallas of the district.
Opening the meeting, the District Hokim emphasized that comprehensive support for young people, ensuring their employment, helping them acquire modern professions, promoting entrepreneurship, and increasing their social engagement are among the top priorities of the state's youth policy. He also noted that promptly addressing young people's appeals, supporting their initiatives, and paying close attention to their concerns are key responsibilities of all relevant officials.
During the open and sincere dialogue, more than 30 young participants presented their concerns, suggestions, and proposals directly to the District Hokim and responsible officials. Most of the appeals related to employment, starting a business, obtaining preferential loans, vocational training, education, housing, land allocation, and other social issues. Several participants also introduced their own initiatives and projects, requesting practical assistance for their implementation.
Each appeal was carefully reviewed with the participation of the heads of the relevant organizations. During the meeting, the issues raised by 20 young participants were resolved on the spot. Appeals requiring further examination were assigned to responsible officials, and their implementation was placed under special supervision.
Members of the Republican Working Group also engaged in discussions with the youth, listened to their opinions and proposals, and shared recommendations on addressing existing challenges, expanding employment opportunities, and helping young people realize their full potential through the ongoing reforms.
At the conclusion of the meeting, responsible officials were instructed to work individually with each young person's appeal, systematically study their concerns, support their initiatives, and ensure the timely and effective implementation of the assigned tasks.
Open dialogue meetings with young people continue to be held regularly in Bukhara District, while consistent efforts are being made to address their concerns, support their initiatives, and further enhance their active participation in the life of society.
