The visitors showed interest in the characteristics of the cotton varieties, cultivation technologies, and yield indicators. They received detailed information from agricultural specialists and farm managers in response to their questions. The delegates also took part directly in the harvesting process using a modern cotton-picking combine.
The delegation then visited the cotton fields of the “Xurram Rustam” farm in the Navoi area, where they were introduced to the cotton crop and received information about the technology of growing cotton under plastic film.
These practical demonstrations showcased the efforts being made in Uzbekistan, including Buka District, to develop cotton farming, introduce modern agricultural technologies, and achieve higher yields.
