A. Nosirov, Head of the Tashkent Regional Department of the “Nuroniy” Foundation, A. Akmalov, Head of the Buka District Department of the Foundation, together with active senior citizens, visited Achamayli mahalla and reviewed ongoing work to increase the social engagement of senior citizens, work with families, and strengthen mutual respect and solidarity among residents.
As part of the implementation of the tasks identified at the video conference chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on September 3 concerning a new stage in efforts to reduce poverty and increase household incomes, families in the mahalla were assessed on a household-by-household basis.
During the process, senior citizens held direct discussions with each family and thoroughly assessed their socio-economic situation, living conditions, employment status, sources of income, existing family-related problems, and need for support.
Particular attention was also paid to effectively using the life experience of senior citizens in working with families, strengthening an atmosphere of solidarity and mutual understanding in the mahalla, guiding young people toward vocational skills and employment, preserving family values, and supporting families in need.
Based on the assessment, issues requiring resolution in cooperation with relevant organizations were identified according to the circumstances of each family.
Practical tasks were identified to assist unemployed citizens with employment, provide vocational training, help families expand their sources of income, support entrepreneurial initiatives, and refer families in need of social assistance to the relevant organizations.
The main objective is not only to identify the problems of each family, but also to facilitate their resolution in cooperation with relevant organizations and help ensure stability and well-being within families.
In this regard, consistent work will continue to make effective use of the life experience, public standing and community engagement of senior citizens, support youth development, strengthen family values, assist families in need, and promote an atmosphere of peace and harmony in the mahalla.
