Practical Seminar Held Ahead of the Grain Sowing Season

Today, a practical seminar dedicated to the effective organization of the grain sowing season was held in the fields of “Buka Shirin Sut” farm, located in the S. Saymoqov area of Buka District.
The seminar was attended by M. Abdazimov, Hokim of Buka District, Sh. Dostbekov, Chairman of the Regional Farmers’ Council, S. Sodiqov, Head of the Regional Department of the Inspection for Control over the Agro-Industrial Complex, Q. Yusupov, Director of the Regional Agroservices Center (AKIS), sector specialists, and heads of agricultural enterprises and farms.
Particular attention was paid to the key factors for obtaining a high and quality grain yield, including thorough preparation of fields for sowing, proper soil treatment, correct selection and preparation of seeds, compliance with sowing schedules, and implementation of agrotechnical measures in accordance with established requirements.
Specialists also provided recommendations on the effective use of modern agrotechnologies, preparing available machinery and resources for the season, and ensuring the timely implementation of agrotechnical measures.
During the seminar, participants reviewed the grain sowing process directly in the field and exchanged views on practical measures aimed at increasing crop yields.
