Issues of Ensuring a Safe Environment in Mahallas Discussed

During the meeting, participants thoroughly discussed the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-1 dated January 5, 2026, “On Additional Measures to Introduce an Integrated Targeted Working System for Creating a Safe Environment in the Mahallas of the Republic”.
The meeting critically reviewed ongoing efforts aimed at preventing crime and offenses in mahallas, effectively organizing social prevention measures, conducting targeted work with youth and women, supporting vulnerable families, and improving the efficiency of the “Mahalla Seven”.
Reports were also heard from responsible officials regarding shortcomings and delays identified in certain areas. Specific tasks were assigned to promptly eliminate existing problems, strengthen executive discipline, and ensure a safe environment in every mahalla.
At the end of the meeting, responsible leaders, sector heads, and relevant organizations were instructed to ensure the unconditional implementation of the resolution, maintain systematic work with citizens’ appeals, and further strengthen preventive measures.
